Warwick-based communications consultancy Prova PR is celebrating after one of its team triumphed at the 2014 Headlineauto Journalism and PR Awards.

Senior account manager, Faye Callaghan, picked up the Rising Star award in recognition of her work within the automotive and transport communications sector.

The awards ceremony was held on September 17 to showcase the best PR and journalism work being carried out in the motor industry.

Faye Callaghan’s Rising Star success marks the first time a winner of this category has worked for an agency rather than a manufacturer’s press office, a testament to the strength of the work she has undertaken for her varied client base.

This year’s Rising Star category was hotly contested, with representatives from motoring giants Rolls-Royce, Jaguar Land Rover and Porsche among the 23 names up for the prize.

Faye’s victory follows her successful campaign delivery with brands such as the global Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) and British manufacturer Triumph Motorcycles, who praised her “can-do and helpful approach, which has produced exceptional results”.

St John White, head of Prova’s transport and technology division, described Faye’s award win as a “demonstration of her fantastic work with some of the biggest names in the transport sector”.

He added: “To even be shortlisted for such an esteemed award is a fantastic endorsement of Faye’s ongoing work. To win it is a real tribute to her ability.”

Prova’s founder, Richard Postins, added: “The whole team is absolutely delighted for Faye.

“It’s an exciting time for Prova and Faye’s Rising Star win is testament to the quality of the campaigns we’re delivering for our world-class client base.”
