The front-man of our local Irish radio show and a familiar face on the circuit in the Midlands, Bob Brolly has overseen the first recording of Midlands Life, for Irish TV, hosted by Katie McPhilimey.

Bob described Katie as his understudy many years ago and his talented colleague and friend is now leading with her own 30-minute show on Irish TV.

The programme, Midlands Life, will see Katie interview many key figures in the community and showcase local talent from the area.

With over 1 million viewers switching on to view Irish TV plus an estimated 100,000 first, second and third generation Irish residing in the Midlands, this show will prove to be a great platform for what’s going on both here and in the Emerald Isle.

Irish TV is available for viewing on SKY 191 and on FREESAT 400.
