The psychological thriller begins when a father stops at a diner he leaves his daughter Cassandra in the car with the promise of returning with an ice cream. When he returns she is nowhere to be seen.

Eight years later evidence suggests that she is still alive. The police, her family and Cassandra herself try to unravel the mystery of her disappearance.

The Captive delves into how kidnapping destroys relationships and binds together all involved and the journey they undertake until mystery is revealed.

This movie proves a tense experience for viewers, which will leave you thinking long after the credit titles have rolled.
