Four men arrested on suspicion of drugs and firearms offences

Four men have been charged after they were arrested in Walsall and Acocks Green on Thursday October 4 on suspicion of drugs and firearms offences.

Plasterer Sean Maguire, aged 27 from Pemberley Road, Acocks Green and company director Samir Rehman, aged 28 from Centurian Drive, Streetly, were charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm and conspiracy to possess ammunition.
 Environmental health officer Jamie Jarrett, aged 28 from Elmwood Road, Streetly, was charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm, conspiracy to possess ammunition and also possession of a firearm.
 Plumber Dale Warburton, aged 24 from Berkley Road, Shirley, was charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm, conspiracy to possess ammunition and he was also charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply cocaine.

The arrests took place in Brockhurst Crescent, Walsall and Stockfield Road, Acocks Green on Thursday afternoon.
 All four appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Saturday October 5 and were remanded in custody. They will next appear at Birmingham Crown Court on January 13.
 A fifth man, aged 32 from Birmingham, was bailed pending further enquiries.
