Well, it’s recorded and ready to go and in the can as they say in the broadcasting industry! The Acoustic1 team and new recruit Pat Breslin, who is the voice of our first ever radio show, hopefully the first of many, have put together a super, one-hour programme in celebration of our upcoming Saint Patrick’s Day parade and celebrations.

Following the appeal for local Irish musicians in our January and February editions, the Acoustic1 team on behalf of all of us here at The Harp have put together a show that as Pat Breslin himself said, “Has everything in it that if you’re Irish, you’d expect to hear, and if you’re not Irish, everything you’d hope to hear.”

A big thank you goes out to The Father Ted’s and Aidan O’Brien who got involved in this first show and we have other bands and solo artists ready for future shows.

We really hope you enjoy the show that’s been put together for you and your St. Patrick’s celebrations, we feel we’ve unearthed a real gem in Pat Breslin who’s proved to be a natural radio presenter, look out Terry Wogan, the DJ really has landed!

Tune in to www.acoustic1radio.co.uk from Friday 14th March 2014 and enjoy a special, Harp newspaper production for our very own Saint Patrick. God bless you all and have a wonderful party, see you at the parade!
