Irelands largest project is a two-lane motorway connecting Dublin’s port with Whitehall.
The Port Tunnel cost €751 million to construct and it is hoped that it will take the pressure off Dublin’s city roads by allowing trucks, lorries, busses and other heavy vehicles to use it for free.
The Port Tunnel is 4.5 Kilometres long and will cost car users between €3 and €12 to access it.

It is believed that there are no suspicious circumstances involved.
