Some Irish Guests came to have a look: Gerry Carney with his wife Maura and Proprietor of Brennan’s Irish Store in Kings Heath, Birmingham, Pat Brennan. They were impressed with the night, and are confident there is a market place for a good quality Irish restaurant in Birmingham	Adding a bit of glamour to the evening, these Broad Steet lovelies gave "Oh Velvet" the thumbs-up on the launch night, Naomi Jeffrey, Heather Reynolds and Kim Foster
