Trouble on the Trains
The Cork and Clare Hurling teams were nearly 100 supporters down recently after the train they were traveling on failed to stop.
The train was a special service to take supporters to the Cork v Clare hurling match, was supposed to stop at Thurles, however the driver was unaware of the change in the service which normally runs straight through to Limerick.
Upon the train’s arrival in Limerick, fans pressured the drive to turn around and take them to their original destination.
After the head office gave permission for this turn around, the fans made it to the match just in time.
