Meeting
of the clans
|
The
meeting of the clans took place when the O’Sullivans, the
McCools and the Hogans and other family members met at The Old
Crown in Digbeth, Birmingham on Sunday, 8th April for a family
lunch and a few drinks, The occasion, a visit from the Hogan
family from New York here on their first visit to Birmingham. Harp
Editor’s cousins Pat and Anne Marie Hogan were on a whistle
stop holiday after arriving from Co Offaly the previous day (Pat
Hogan’s home county) and were staying at The Old Crown for
a few days before moving on to London to see the sights.
Everyone had a great time and would like to thank Anthony Hickey
his sister Marian and staff from The Old Crown for the fabulous
meal and hospitality on the Sunday.
The Hogan family would also like to thank them for the wonderful
reception they received and the way they made them feel at home during
their four day stay.
A good a day and night was enjoyed by all, here’s to the next
time.
