St. Martin De Porres Clinch Challoner Cup
St Martin De Porres Wining Cup Team with John White (Teacher)

St. Martin De Porres from Moseley added another piece of silver-ware to the Gaelic football trophy cabinet recently with success in the Challoner Cup.
Children from 6 local primary schools took to the field to display their newly learned Gaelic Football skills as part of the Bishop Challoner School Sports Partner-ship and Warwickshire Schools GAA ‘Go Games’ programme. The scheme began in February when over 250 children were first introduced to a variety of Gaelic football skills and fun games before competing in the primary schools festival. St. Martin De Porres and local rival St. Bernard’s finished top
of their qualifying groups and met in
an exciting final
before the Moseley school clinched the championship cup. Colmore Junior over-came a talented St. Albans team in the shield competition whilst Rosin Keating from St. Dunstans and Tom Matthews from St. Bernard’s won the players awards.
