Irish advice
Advice booklets are to be distributed this month to Irish households. The publication is similar to those dispersed across the UK in 2004.
The booklet advises on what to do in an emergency and covers topics from pandemic flu and animal disease to explosions and chemical spills.

Bank records lost
Private data of approximately 10,000 Irish Bank of Ireland customers has been lost.
A number of company laptops that contain personal files have gone missing. The files contain information including names, bank details and addresses, however the computers have security protection and the bank is investigating.
Cork Airport Resignation
The Chairperson of Cork Airport, Joe Gantly has submitted his resignation to the Airport Authority and to the Minister for Transport, Noel Dempsey.
Stepping down in July, Mr Gantly said he has achieved his goals in what he set out to do when he took on the role in 2003, and he feels it is time to move on.
