Solihull
iron man Paddy Doyle is set to star in a documentary about his
life co-written and produced by former BBC Radio WM broadcaster
Malcolm Boyden.
Paddy is officially the World's Fittest Athlete, and in between his
world record endurance endea-vours he runs an access to the military
course at Solihull College.
Entitled 'No Pain, No Glory' the documentary has been co-produced
by Titan Films and catalogues Paddy's life before he became a world
record breaker, his numerous fitness challenges, his passion and
motivation for sport and his hopes for the future.
The film includes a number of interviews and also features current
footage of the fitness champ in action through his many record breaking
feats.
Paddy won his 132nd world fitness endurance record in August 2005
at the 50th Guinness World Record Games in Germany to maintain his
title as World's Fittest Athlete.
This involved a series of tough challenges in cycling, rowing, climbing,
running, martial arts and weights.
Paddy said: "I've really enjoyed filming this documentary and
I hope it helps to open many people's eyes to the way in which sport
and fitness can play such a positive role in life."
'No Pain, No Glory' will be on sale through specialist sports outlets
across the UK before it is launched in high street shops next year.
Locally it is available from Camerama, 75 Station Road, Kenilworth.
